Enlivening Spirit

Jacquelyn describes “he has won the hearts of everyone who has met him and many who have not met him.” Even in his unbearable pain, he was making everyone smile. This lively spirit recovered very fastly. The therapy did wonders to him and it seemed he had his luck on his side. That is why while his recovery a family adopted him. This time his owner was really nice with a fenced backyard where he plays with two brothers.

Height Of Inhumanity

Picasso the pit bull/Corgi mix was going to be killed only because he had a lopsided face. The dog was previously owned by a backyard breeder who intended to sell him. But due to his facial deformity, no one showed interest in buying the dog. Consequently, he gave this dog to a shelter. The shelter, on the other hand, enlisted the dog as unwanted and planned its euthanasia!

Euthanasia The Only Option?

The euthanasia of the dog was imminent when a nonprofit group, “Luvable Dog Rescue” entered the scene. The organization works by saving dogs from high-kill shelters. They rescued Picasso and got him and his normal-looking brother Pablo, a shelter. Surprisingly, initially, whereas Picasso was enlisted as unwanted, today there are many people out their who want to adopt the dog.

Deformity

As far as the deformity of dog is concerned then it is not grave. His jaw is working fine and has no problem in drinking and eating. It looks dangerous in appearance only. Unfortunately in our society outer look is more important than the inner beauty. Picasso was a victim of this perception only.

Dog With A Secret

While shopping in the market in Vera, Spain, a person saw a Greyhound dog limping into the premises with her broken leg. The person picked her up immediately and took her to the vet. Most likely the dog had been abandoned by hunters. She was in a terrible condition. The vet treated her for her injury and noticed that the dog was producing milk and was bleeding from the backside.

Back To The Spot

It was clear that she had given birth some time ago. The vet christened her “Vera” naming her after the town she was discovered in. After redressing pup’s injury, the vet took her to the market where she was found. The vet knew that the pups of Vera would be somewhere around. Expectedly, Vera led them to a car that was two miles away from the market. There was a very unbelievable sight waiting for them.
