SukritiUnforeseen Twist
After spending around a week on the water, Karl, the geologist and now the group leader informed the rest that they were quickly approaching towards the San Pedro Canyon which is a dangerous river line full of waterfalls and stones and rapid stretches, surely, not good at all for a hand-made boat. Karl said that he has a map but no one could not understand why he even made the boat head in the wrong direction and what came to their surprise was that their leader denied going ahead.
Cheater!
Now, Karl, the so-called geologist started admitting that he was lying to the group about everything. First of all, he didn’t know to swim, second, neither he was a geologist nor he was holding any map. He was there for criminal gold hunting having no clue of the Amazon. The group had no idea how to deal with the fall from the canyon, however, they didn’t want to continue together anymore.
Separate Ways
Yossi, Marcus, and Kevin were betrayed by a liar and they knew that they’ve to end this expedition right now but they were in the middle of the jungle they couldn’t go any further and they didn’t want to go back with Karl anymore. Therefore, the group finally made a decision to part ways in the midst of the jungle.
Two-Two Group
As Yossi and Kevin, the photographer were close friends, they decided to stick together and continue their journey by river while, Marcus and Karl, the one who lied decided to walk together. Before parting ways, they decided to meet before Christmas in La Paz for ending their story with a conclusion. They had the least idea that it’ll be the last time, they’ll be seeing each other.
Upside-Down
Yossi and Kevin weren’t experienced with boating and they were frightened to death when their raft which they built on their own hit a huge rock. The raft turned upside-down and both were flowing down with the rushing water. They were supposed to be quick and hold to any stem or rock to save themselves from the waterfall in front of them. While Kevin was successfully able to make to the shore, Yossi’s attempts were still going in vain.
The Dangerous Drop
Kevin tried to help Yossi but couldn’t and the strong current was forcing Yossi deep under the water when he was putting all his strength to stay on the water surface and breath. He didn’t have time to rush towards the shore. He tried with all his strength but everything went useless.
