When the doctors could not ignore the frequent and continuous downfall in Kaizler’s health, they had to undergo some extensive tests to try to find out his health issues. “They told us that he either had a severe viral infection, or he had Leukemia,” Tony said. And it was just a day before Christmas that Rachel and Tony were informed that their son was diagnosed with Leukemia.
Not The End
The breaking of this news for the family on the day just before Christmas Eve was not easy at all. Not just Kaizler’s, but the whole family’s life was going to change. But that was not just it for the Wood family.
God’s Plan
The Wood family has always been an ardent believer in God. The moment they heard the news of Kaizler’s diagnosis, they put all their faith and energy in God and believed that their son would get well. But, little did they know that this was not the only phenomena of their lives that were going to face a change, but God had planned a lot more for the family.
Prayers for Kaizler
Since the family had faith that prayers could heel everything, their next step was to make a Facebook page with the name ‘Prayers for Kaizler’. They wanted the whole community to pray for the well being of their child, and were strong to fight the problems and come out as winners.
Turns and Twists
The generation of today can be nasty, and turn anything into a jokes-sharing-platform, or make fun of the platform itself. And so, anything could have become of the page ‘Prayers for Kaizler’ made by the Woods. But what it turned out to be finally, was not what the people of today would be expected to do.
A Stranger
All this while when Tony’s kids had become twitter famous, and Kaizler was missing from the picture because of being with his mother at the hospital for his chemotherapy, a stranger had joined the page ‘Prayers for Kaizler’. And this stranger was going to alter the Wood family’s life forever.
