SukritiDidn’t End There
When the boy went back to his chair and was telling the story to his mother with enthusiasm, Travis took a breath of relief that he finally made someone happy. This might look like a good deed but what was about to happen was the major part.
Not Yet Done
After 30 minutes, once the kid had his frozen yogurt desert treat, he returned back to the counter where Travis was still working as usual. The boy waited with his mother for his turn to come. The boy was about to give Travis the most beautiful gift that’ll make his day.
Handed Him A Note
The kid and Travis exchanged a smile and the kid handed him a handwritten note. Travis smiled and took the note but what was inside the note was so overwhelming that all the employees were surprised to see it.
Read Out Loud
The note was so special for the cashier. “It says, ‘Thank you for being so nice and paying for my concrete. We need more people like you!’” told Travis. There was a smiley at the end of the note. He read the note in front of his team and later on in front of the news reporters too! The note held something more as a reward to the cashier.
Couldn’t Believe The Discovery
The note was wrapped around a $100 bill. Yes, Travis made the boy’s day who did the unexpected for him. Words weren’t all in the note. The cashier smiled and couldn’t resist but share it with the rest of the employees what he just found in it.
Made His Day
“It made my day. I was smiling for the rest of the day; I could not get over it,” Travis recalled the memorable day. The cashier was expecting that he had definitely made a good difference in the life of the mother-son pair as they tipped him $100.
