Highly Expensive

While researching out he found out an astonishing truth about the abstract art. This marvelous piece of art had gotten stolen in 1985. It happened during the exhibition that took place at the University of Arizona Museum of Art in Tucson, AZ, in 1985. The burglary had made headlines all across the country. If that was the case then how this painting came to this couple who had a very low earning. Well, another revelation answered it all. 

Early Hours Of The Morning

On reading further he found out that the burglary took place in the early morning of  November 29. A man and a woman posing as a couple stood right before the museum doors. Just when a security guard was about the unlock the doors to let a member of staff inside the premises, something unexpected happened. 

A Quick Distraction

The couple struggled to enter the museum and as the museum was to be opened for the public, the guard too did not stop them from entering. Not only that, the guard started conversing with the lady who happened to be 60 years old. Little did guard know his distraction was going to cost him a lot.

Distracted

The woman continued talking to the guard in order to distract him. The man with the woman was quite young, By appearance, it seemed that the man must be in his twenties. Whereas the woman was talking to the guard, the man rushed to the third floor of the building. What was going on in his mind?    

The Steal

The two were talking when the man came hastily towards her. The couple talked to each other and suddenly both stormed out of the museum. The guard, on the other hand, kept watching them and then the penny dropped! He ran inside to see if anything was missing. At that time the guard was the only security personnel present at the premises.

Unfortunately, the museum had no cameras at that time. Besides that, the police could not find any fingerprints.  There was no clue! However, there was a witness who claimed that he/she saw a rust color sports car speeding away but could not register the license plate number.
