The moment the Chinese couple realized that one of the babies wasn’t theirs, they in an instance lost interest in him. This was quite painful to see. Moreover, Allen was informed that someone else was taking care of her biological son and the couple was demanding around $22,000 as compensation, before handing over her own son to her.
Things Worsened
Jessica and her husband were in serious debt. They were already making up for their new house, now they had to look for arranging $22,000 to pay as compensation to the couple. And things did not stop here as the organization even told the couple that the person who was taking care of their son too needs to be paid something.

Jessica and her partner were in no position to pay the amount of money they were being asked to pay. They already had two kids and things were just slipping from their hands. They did not want to lose their baby and then they were told the heart-breaking news. Their son was now going to be put for adoption.

It was disgusting that the caseworker actually puts Allen’s baby for adoption and offered him to the couples who turned up to adopt him. Through this, the caseworker was trying to make up for the money that Allen owed to him. And if it doesn’t work, the Chinese couple would put the baby for adoption as till now they were his legal parents.
Not Simple
As Jessica had already met the Chinese couple and have even acted as a surrogate to their baby, she had trusted them with all her heart. She thought the couple would easily give her baby back to her but this simple gesture was now an altogether new and huge battle. She was heart-broken and felt betrayed.
