The Ring Box
A woman from Kansas commented on this post and shared this picture of her ring box. She wrote, ” When my husband and I were dating I told him he could propose with a bubblegum wrapper twisted up like a ring and I would still say yes. That was more than 21 years ago. Guess what sits in a ring box in our lockbox?” This would make anyone believe in love.
Mother’s Ring
Another woman shared the ring which her father had given to her mother while proposing her. Even that woman shared the thoughts similar to that of Ariel. She too believed that the size of the diamond on the ring was never a matter. However, the third comment wasn’t alike.
So Small
There was another woman who was disappointed with her ring. Probably she valued money and diamonds a lot more than she valued the love her to-be husband has for her. Not everyone’s thinking could be influenced. But in the end, Ariel had just one thing to say…
Love Matters
The last words in Ariel’s post read, “people shouldn’t have to go into debt for love. It’s the love that’s important. You can get married without rings. It’s just material.” This is what the people and we as society needs to learn to appreciate. Kudos to this woman who valued her relationship more.
