A fallout shelter would help people to keep the harmful news that was but imminent anytime for them. The families can stay in these shelters until it was absolutely safe to come out after the conflict had completely ended. The after math would need some time to be suppressed before people could come out and not be affected. It was the only way anyone could live through such a tragic conflict. The Otcasek’s home was mostly built using plywood walls and had been in a good condition all these years. The shelter was also very well planned out so that it contained all the essentials that anyone would need during that time in the 60s.
