Derek made a dramatic progress. He had re-grown his spines, however, with alopecia a negligible amount of growth is expected but Derek had managed to regrow all his spines in a short amount of time. It was a miracle! The hedgehog had finally bounced back.
Hog Heaven
Derek the hedgehog can now lead a happy life all thanks to Garner and her hard-working team. Although, they are not certain if Derek’s past trauma would let him survive in the wild, however, they are absolutely sure that the hedgehog will be more than okay if he lives with them. Derek won’t have to worry about anything for the time he lives as he has a lot of friends who love him.
