Beginning
Jerome Jacobson was born in 1943, in Youngstown, Ohio. He wanted to be a police officer since childhood. And unlike many kids of his age, he held on to his dream. The little boy had amazing communication skills and had the talent of getting along well with the people around him. However, little did he know his these talents were going to make him a millionaire.

Jerome was a smart kid from the childhood. He was one of the brightest kid in his class and earned people’s attention for his out of the box ideas. It was in 1976, Jerome got enrolled in Florida’s Hollywood Police Department. He finally had his aim achieved but that was not it. Unfortunately, he had to quit his job in 1980 due to the health issues he had. The man got a wounded wrist that ultimately led to serious widespread paralysis. Not only that the reports suggested that Jerome had a rare neurological disorder.
Quitting The Job
But Also due to his severe ailment, Jacobson had to take off from the work for several days to get some rest. His wife Marsha took the best care of him despite that, he could not make it back to his job soon enough and hence, he got his walking papers. No doubt, Jacobson was one of the most efficient officers in the force but as he was incapable to carry on with his work, he had to bid goodbye to his dream. What was he going to next? Started New Career
His injury did not only deprive him of his dream job but also affected his personal life. After losing his job in 1980, the man got divorced in 1983. However, life seemed to be back on track when he found himself a job in an accounting firm as a security auditor. He got assigned to the Simon Marketing and was given the task of looking after $500 million of a certain fast food chain’s account. The marketing company got very impressed by his devotion to his job and offered him a place in their company.
