AnushkaAdventurous Life
It seemed as if Aubrey had been living an adventurous life all the while. He was alive and doing perfectly well. His looks changed and it was the prime reason no one was easily able to locate him. Moreover, his life was more of a happening one.
Hippie Travelers
In the past two years, Aubrey had developed a close bond with a group of hippie travelers. Aubrey had been traveling to West Coast and the Midwest in the past months along with his new group of travelers. Also, in order to bear his expenses, he had even worked as a bartender. He had been spending cash wherever possible, and therefore there weren’t any paper trails by which one could locate him.
Holding Back
Michael and Danielle breathed a sigh of relief. They were glad to see that their son was perfectly fine and doing good. However, they did not contact him directly. They were scared that the news of them coming and meeting might alert him and they did not want to lose him again.
A Phone Call
After much wait, the parents gave up. They couldn’t wait to see their son and hear from him. They called him up on the new number which the police officers had found out. Aubrey answered the call and did not hesitate even for a second. He readily agreed to come to Georgia and meet his parents.
Reunited
Aubrey happily made his way back to his parents. He reunited with them and had no grudges for either of them. However, this did not mean that his traveling tales took a full-stop. No, he continued to explore the world with other hippies.
A Choice
One of the officers in an interview said that “He told us that he left on his own, and had not been abducted, hurt, abused, exploited, or harmed in any way,” However, the reasons for why he left his home were still not clear as Aubrey never spoke about it. It was assumed that it was his divorced parents and traveling amongst two countries to continue with life made him do so.
