Getting A Hug
William stepped out of his truck and hugged the officer. It was the moment they both needed but didn’t realize till the time it happened. “With tears in both our eyes I got out and hugged that man. I’m talking about for a minute or two crying. Down to our knees crying. I needed that,” Willaim mentioned in his Facebook post.
Sweet Moment
Both of them have seen a lot in their lives and it was hard to live this way. Unknowingly this gave them the hope that will help them to look forward in their lives. This was the moment that helped William to get over his PTSD.
Letting Go
The men felt a strong connection but it was time to go. They shook hands and bid goodbyes. They both felt revealed and it was like a huge burden was lifted. The moment was over and William left for his home. But it was far from over.
Couldn’t Forget
William was not able to forget this moment. The whole day he kept on thinking about the cop and his son. He shared this incident with his girlfriend sho was always supportive of him. She told him to look at this incident as a sign to move forward and start looking at life differently.
Facebook Post
William then made up his mind to share the whole incident with his friends. So, he turned to Facebook and posted what went on there. He not only shared the whole incident but also came to a conclusion by the time he was done with typing it all.
Wonderful Message
“To all the family and friends of soldiers, fighting or done fighting, God bless you. Your peace and your hearts. Its so hard without them, i know. This road is a tremendous one. Love to all.” The ended his post with this view. He wanted to tell his friends and family the importance of remembering those who sacrifice their lives fighting for us and appreciating those who are still in the warfare.
