Seeking Justice
This immoral study was running under the supervision of the Child Development Center that later got unified with the Jewish Board. After the disclosure of their hideous method, Eddy and David are demanding Jewish Board to issue an apology and monetary compensation.
Holding The Agency Accountable
The triplets even have a movie made on their life. The flick Three Identical Strangers released at the Sundance Film Festival that sheds light on the stories of these triplets. Tim Wardle the director of the movie has beautifully covered the entire story beginning on the first day of Robert in college in 1980. How do you think the movie performed?
A Big Success
Unsurprisingly, the documentary won everyone’s heart. It garnered great reviews from all corner of the world. Most importantly, the movie has worked a lot in raising awareness and mounts pressure on the Jewish Board to take responsibility.
Make Things Right
Robert Shafran and David Kellman are also demanding Jewish Board to change their way. Shafran opened up in an interview with the Washington Post “I think the first thing [the Jewish Board] should have done once they became aware of this movie is reunite any twins still surviving and advise those who’ve been deceased, just so they can know who they are.”
Not Alone
These triplets were lucky enough to get to meet each other even after many years but unfortunately, not many twins or triplets gets this chance. There are many sets of twins and triplets who never get the opportunity of seeing each other ever in life.
No Remorse
Dr. Peter Neubauer had no empathy towards his subjects. In a meeting with psychologist Nancy Segal, he expressed his indifferent nature for his study subjects. Segal said “What struck me most was he showed absolutely no remorse for what he had done. He still felt he had done the right thing.” One more thing his study brought to the light is that “genes have a more pervasive influence than we thought” because in most cases, separated siblings “ended up being extremely alike.”
