Legalised
Last year, Dolph legally bought Gabriel. Although he wasn’t able to take Gabriel with him to America, he has moved to South Africa permanently. He says, “I’m still learning about him.” He is very genuine towards Gabriel and other animals and hence finds out a good way to stay with them.
Volunteer Turned Intern
Dolph recently turned 52 and for now, he has started working for the Cheetah Experience as an intern. He takes care of Gabriel and other cheetahs for full time and looks after special cheetahs who are denied to be kept by other animal shelters. “I started off as a volunteer at Cheetah Experience and then became an intern. And now, Gabriel is my foundation animal for the project I want to begin myself,” told Dolph, in an interview.
Will Die Happily
“Me personally, I have never been happier than I am right now. Gabriel will be on my will. In case something happens to me, I’ll make sure Gabriel is cared for in the best possible place. It just shows you how much this animal has touched my life. He’s changed it. Gabriel has changed my life. One day, I’ll die happy with a legacy knowing I made a difference,” says the wildlife expert who won hearts around the world with his amazing work. Their video is on the next slide.
