Dolph decided to meet his old friend, who most probably have forgotten him by now. He went back to the makeshift facility in order to take a look at how Gabriel is doing. When the two came face to face after so long, Dolph was surely emotional but everyone was waiting to see Gabriel’s response to his buddy.
Attacked?
Now seems to be the right time to inform you that Dolph who is a trained expert has been injured by predators at times in the past decades over his years of learning and working with the wild animals. This could turn out to be one such incident where he was wounded by animals but what actually happened thrilled the world.
Encountering
The day arrived when Dolph finally went in to meet Gabriel. The cheetah’s reaction was making it clear that he does recognize his friend. Gabriel instantly ran towards Dolph and everyone was looking at it with jaws wide-open. He jumped on Dolph and smelled him and was licking all over his face. The next thing is just so heartwarming. As we already told you there’s so much in their friendship that’s left as the two were not gonna stay together for too long.
Please, Don’t Go!
Gabriel denied leaving Dolph and he wasn’t ready to let him go in any case. He hugged the zoologist and snuggled his nose on Dolph’s neck. People assumed the possible reason behind the cheetah’s unusual behavior that Gabriel possibly thinks of Dolph as his alpha male or his master. Whatever was the reason, the cheetah wasn’t over his friend for sure.
The Smart Cheetah
“It started when Gabriel was a cub. I remember what he used to like to do… putting his paws on my shoulder, laying on me, grooming me. He remembers all the special things we used to do and I remember what he used to like to do. You know, getting up close, putting his paws on my shoulder, laying on me and grooming me,” tells Dolph about his buddy. But Dolph couldn’t stay in South Africa for too long as he has to go back.
On And On
Wildcats don’t have traits to get so much emotionally attached to anyone and Gabriel’s respond was quite thrilling for everyone. This is a very unnatural thing to happen but we can say it’s a good exception. So, within a few days Dolph has to leave again but this time he knew he’s leaving his best buddy behind.
