Hello America!
Gabriel obviously isn’t the first cheetah, that Dolph spent time with, as he is an expert in his field. Dolph has been taking care of predators and loves his job which he has been doing for more than a decade. He knew once left, predators soon get used to their new carers and routine. But Gabriel was not like others as we already told you.
Once Before
Before we tell you more about Gabriel, we think it’s important for you to know about Faith who was a young female cheetah and suffered from septic meningitis. Faith needed special attention due to her serious situation. Dolph started staying with Faith in her confined box which is just for the cheetah to sleep. What came as a surprise to everyone was the fact that Faith enjoyed his company and use to cuddle with Dolph and sleep like his pillow. You’ll find what happened in Gabriel’s case, way more emotional than this.
Knows The Wildcats
“People wonder if cheetahs are dangerous. Okay, they are a weapon from tongue to tail. I’ve never personally been attacked, but I have been injured by them. After long stints of time away from them all, I do have certain apprehension and caution with some of the cheetahs. I’m not suddenly going to come up and grab a cheetah I haven’t seen in a year. That’s just crazy,” Dolph explained in an interview the reason behind his affection towards cheetahs. Gabriel, however, made him take the biggest decision of his life.
Not Alone But Lonely
Dolph left for America and Gabriel was left alone without his best buddy, however, the makeshift facility takes care of other cheetahs which mean Gabriel wasn’t alone. Also, there were other zoologists too who loved the company of predators just like Dolph. But Gabriel’s behavior changed slightly after Dolph went back home. Though, like rest of the predators he got into the new routine soon, the world was about to witness that he never forgot his friend.
Back In Town?
After a few months, Dolph was returning back to South Africa for some work. He wasn’t even sure if he will see Gabriel this time as he was certain that the young fellow will not remember him anymore. And hence, nothing was sure yet. Trust us when we say these two are about to set an example for the world.
Endangered Species
“Cheetahs are disappearing in the wild and projects like Cheetah Experience and others may be the last hope in saving this wonderful species,” told Dolph who knows the importance of his work and was determined to do whatever it takes to help his cheetah friends.
