The shelter provided him with such care and affection that Gumby quickly as he was more active and happier than ever before. In less than no time, Gumby had become healthy and oh-so-adorable. With that clean cream fur, he is absolutely irresistible.
Everybody Loves Gumby
He was so charming and adorable that even just a few moments with him was enough to be under his spell. The folks working at the Charleston Animal Society had fallen head over heels in love with him, and the feeling was mutual.
When Separation Comes
The atmosphere of the shelter was so happy and everyone was getting along. So, neither side expected that they’d ever be separated from each other, but they were.
Gumby The Escape Artist
Eventually, Gumby was adopted, but he was one slippery four-legged pooch so you now by now what he would be up to.
Short Episodes Of Adoption
His first adoption lasted only three days. Fortunately, the second adoption lasted a little longer; six days. Soon enough, this had become a pattern, and initially, no one understood why.
But He Keeps Coming Back
For the next two years, Gumby would bounce from home to shelter, to home and back again. It had become sort of tradition for him to find his way back.
