A Unique Liking
Brosnan has been in the industry for a very long time. During the tenure, he has been a part of 70 films, 10 television series, and some video games. Though he has worked in many big banner movies his liking includes the smaller and independent roles. Brosnan once explained, “I love the intimacy and the passion and the danger that go into independent filmmaking because it comes out of a creative necessity,” he added “It comes from people who really want to make a movie and want to make a difference and want to grab an audience by the gullet and show them something different.”
Claustrophobic Bond
Going by Brosnan’s choice of playing rough and tough roles it is difficult to imagine that he is claustrophobic. Yes, he is frightened of tight spaces that sometimes posed challenges for him while working in different movies. Especially while filming for Dante’s Peak he had to bite the bullet number of times as the film included many tight space scenes. But as we all know a devoted actor like him overcame all the difficulties and proved his worth.
The Souvenir Of Bond Series
We all know that the difficult action scenes are done by the body doubles so that nothing harmful would happen to the actor. Pierce Brosnan too had a stunt double in the movie Tomorrow Never Dies but that instead of helping things complicated it. After the cancellation of Pierce Brosnan from the James Bond series, it was deemed as the end of the franchise until British actor Daniel Craig took up the role of James Bond. He started his journey of James Bond with the movie Casino Royale that got released in 2006. This movie also was the first movie to use the original Ian Fleming title after 1987. Craig gained laudatory for pulling the role off so beautifully. In the light of it, it would be important to delve into his history as his past was the backdrop of his success of his Bond’s character. His penchant for acting developed since he was a kid.
Craig’s Love For Acting
Daniel Craig always had an inclination towards acting. He used to act in school plays at the age of six. He did not waste much time in finding out is passion and got himself enrolled in the National Youth Theater at just the age of 16. In order to learn acting in the National Youth Theater, he had to drop out of his sixth grade and leave Liverpool as the acting institution was located in London. But there were many instances that happened to him in his future life that made him question his this decision.
Did Unexpected Things
Daniel Craig did not have a smooth running acting career. He has struggled a lot with getting roles in the movies to keeping his soul and body together. The prospective actor once worked as a part-time worker in a restaurant to fund his fees while being with National Youth Theater. He faced numerous rejections while auditioning for multiple acting skills. Eventually, he was accepted by Guildhall School of Music and Drama and got graduated in 1991.
