This is not a secret that he has been a vocal supporter of LGBTQ community but what most people do not know is that he once considered himself to be a gay. In his biography that documents his personal and professional life, he reveals how he began to think that he is a gay. He states in the book “I was young, frivolous and full of abandon– a hippie with long hair down to my shoulders and a little goatee beard.” However, the heartbeat of many girls he is straight like an arrow and is happily married to his wife Keely Shaye Smith since 2001.

The movie was about a Chicago residents Niel Randall (Gerard Butler) who leads a blissful life with his wife, Abby Randall (Maria Bello) until their daughter gets kidnapped by Tom Ryan (Pierce Brosnan). Why is this movie and particularly this scene so important? It is because during the car crash scene Brosnan was actually inside the car that was filmed in a parking lot. Pierce Brosnan has flaunted his directing skills too. In the movie, The World Is Not Enough the actor posited his idea of adding some actions to the iconic underwater scene. Look closer next time you watch this scene you will see Brosnan adjusting his tie being underwater. The scene is imperceptible but makes a huge difference in the movie. It was Brosnan’s idea to add this scene to it and the director loved it.

If this is not perfect than what is? Apart from being a talented actor, well-versed painter and commercial illustrator Brosnan also is a polished music player. He likes to play the ukelele. He developed the interest for this instrument during his stint in Hawaii. There he learned about the instrument and began practicing. He also has displayed his musical skills in an advertisement of Komoa brand ukeleles. According to him “I love the ukulele. It’s got a beautiful, melodic tone to it. There’s something innocent and romantic, and it’s just a grand instrument to play.”
