Pierce Brosnan is also ahead in charities. He and his wife donated $100,000 to the upkeeping of a playground in an elementary school in Kuai. The school is in the vicinity of the home that they own in the same region. They donated to Hawaii’s non-profit organization 3R’s (Repair, Remodel, and Restore Hawaii’s public schools). Pierce disclosed the reason behind their this altruistic step he said “We were disheartened that the playground equipment was condemned for so long, and we wanted to find a way to help…we believe play activities enhance children’s educational experiences and they were missing out.”
Unexpected Tragedies
Pierce got a major economical set back in 2016 when his eco-friendly Malibu home worth $18.5 million caught a horrible fire. California is widely known for brush fires but this one was different in nature. The authorities called it electrically driven fire. The calamity caused a loss of over one million dollars to him and perished his Aston Martin Vanquish. The scary part is that during that time when the fire broke out his whole family was inside but fortunately no one got hurt by it.
James Spilled The Guts!
James Corden, in an episode of his talk show The Late Show With James Corden, described his meeting with the Pierce Brosnan. He made the revelation while he was playing the sequence “Spill Your Guts or Fill Your Guts” with Khloe Kardashian. In this game, the contestants are asked a question and they have to either answer it or consume something scornful like fish eyeballs. Khloe asked James to name a celebrity who got rude with him and gave him bird saliva as an alternative to not answering the question. James decided to answer over drinking that. He named Pierce Brosnan!
What Did Corden Just Say!
Corden went on to narrate the incident. He with his wife and friends had gone to see the band U2 when he bumped into Pierce. Pierce also had come there with his pals. Corden took their place when they left the area and it was then when Pierce did something very rude to him. Corden said “literally, I’ve never felt anything like it, this arm went on here and just pushed me out the way. And I looked at him, and he didn’t even glance at me and he just moved back into this area.” He also makes it clear by saying “I don’t think he’s a rude man, he just happened to be to me.”

The finest actor Pierce Brosnan also has a dabble hand in painting. Not many people know that he is a professionally-trained illustrator. He has taken training in school for art for becoming an illustrator just at the age of 16. But in the ’80s his acting career catapulted to the next level during his stint in the TV series Remington Steele that made him continue in his acting career and put art in the backseat. However, he always managed to take the time out for his hobby and painted much artwork. He donated all of the profit procured from them.
A Gay Bond In Making?
The versatile actor is very much into social services. He funds many charities and is associated with a number of social welfare entities, for instance, he also works as an Ambassador for UNICEF. Besides that, he also advocates for the rights of the LGBTQ community and same-sex marriage. The actor also has opined that he would love to see a 007 franchise where Bond will be gay. On being asked about this he said “Sure. Why not? “Actually, I don’t know how it would work. I don’t think Barbara would allow a gay Bond to happen in her lifetime. But it would certainly make for interesting viewing.”
