With his abundance of talents, it was only right that Gumby is honored for his charming personality and efforts. Satriale made him an “ambassa-dog.” And karma seemed to have Gumby’s back, as some good news was in store in for the pooch!

Even though it seemed like Gumby was destined to be at the Charleston Animal Society, there was one staffer who Gumby was biased towards. And lo and behold, John Martin, the staffer Gumby was taken with, ended up adopting him!
City Dog
John, along with his wife Joanna, with Gumby in tow, soon shifted to New York City. And Gumby has never been happier! He has never once attempted to escape the couple and indulges in his happy forever home. Perhaps he was meant to be a city dog after all?
