Charlotte Rae – Then
The main character in ‘The Facts of Life’ was Mrs. Edna Garrett. Actress Charlotte Rae played the housekeeper of Eastland prep school. She had been a powerful character on the show who made sure the first seven girls did well. In season two there were many characters that have to be cut to be able to focus on the main characters. Therefore, Edna Garrett became a crucial part of the whole show.
Charlotte Rae – Now
Amazingly, Charlotte Rae is still healthy and strong at a whopping 90-year-old. She has not changed over the course of these years, still remaining a bubbly personality staying true to her legacy. The Emmy-Award nominated Rae ended up appearing in a number of shows and movies. She does little work now but makes a cameo here and there and her most recent work would be 2015′ ‘Ricky and the Flash’.
Mayim Bialik – Then
Mayim Bialik’s was actually an actor since her childhood. She had a small role on ‘The Facts of Life’ as well as starred in the film ‘Beaches’, winning a Young Artists Award. She played Jennifer Cole and appeared only in the last two episodes. No one knew what to expect for the child actor since her role was so short. She went on to become one of the most successful actors in the show.
Mayim Bialik – Now
Bialik’s role as Amy Farrah Fowler on ‘The Big Bang Theory’ made her a household name. She definitely has an impressive acting resume since she is indeed a talented actress. She has been nominated for three Primetime Emmy’s. Another fascinating thing about her is that she has a Ph.D. degree in Neuroscience. There is no doubt that she is the personification of beauty and brain.
Seth Green – Then
Ever since he was a child it was clear that Seth Green would make a great actor. Like Mayim Bialik, Green was a part of ‘The Facts of Life’ cast as the series was nearing its end. His role as Adam Brinkerhoff was shown in just two episodes too. There was the talk of a spinoff show for some of these characters but never ended up being made. He starred in 2 movies by 1988 but the future had so much in store for him.
Seth Green – Now
Green’s career took off even after the show ended. He became a sought-after TV actor, being cast in shows like ‘Buffy The Vampire Slayer’ and even in the ‘Austin Powers’ franchise. He has also done some voice acting, taking the role of Chris Giffin on Seth McFarlane’s hit animation ‘Family Guy’. Green’s greatest work would have to be creating ‘Robot Chicken’. He works as writer, director, and performer for this animated show.
