A Liberating Experience

Anze was curious why Zack decided to live a life of Solitude, in a place soo far away from the mainstream civilization, away from everything the man-made world had to offer. Zack confessed that it was on this island where for the first time in his life he really felt what it meant to exist. He said, “I didn’t feel like a fish in a tank once I was here; instead, in this wilderness, all my anxiety simply evaporated”

But is it as simple as it sounds? Let’s find out

Zach’s Occupation

The Marble island is known for its abundance population of Oysters. Zack too uses this to his advantage and keeps his days busy by working at the floating oyster farm. This happens to be his main source of income too. In the time he is not working on his farm, he spends his days trekking and adventuring across the island. You’ll be glad to know that he also has a companion, Khali is Zack’s best buddy.

Zach’s Best Friend

Khali is the name of the dog who lives on the island with Zach. In the time Zack is not exploring the island, Khali is the one acting as his accomplice. And she is indeed a very special dog, one that is pretty much as entombment of the phrase “dog is a man’s best friend” but she is not is the only friend Zack has.

The Only Human Companion

Apart from the loving company of Khali, Zack also has the privilege to spend his time in the wonderful company of the Wyatts. This is another family residents of the same island. They too like Zack run an oysters farm. The head of this family is a man named Eric Wyatt. He also earns his bread by fishing along with running the oyster farm.

So it that all the company that Zach has?

A Few Unwanted Companions

Well not quite, along with all the amazing things this island has to offer, there are also many unwanted creatures roaming on this island. Because of the fact that this island is pretty much uncharted. Threats such as reptiles and insects are ever present on this island. But along with these tiny creatures, there are bigger unwanted guests on this island too like Bears. Zack and the Wyatts have had countless encounters with this giant beast. But as the time has passed they too have learned to co-exist alongside with them.

Struggle For Survival

But there are in fact greater challenges to living on the Marble island, much greater than a freaking bear. Since this island has never been completely inhabited by humans, it is virtually impossible to find any resources to sustain a human life. And this raises a major question in front of us all, “How does Zach survive on the island?”
