Mess Not Invited

When Jane’s parents asked Jane to rethink about her decision, she said she already made one. She further says to Samara, “ Now that you are pregnant, Well, then, I guess you can’t be in my wedding, because I don’t want to deal with the problems your pregnancy will cause.” Jane was adamant and did not want her wedding to be spoiled just because of any medical emergency that might arise due to her sister being 8 months pregnant.

Tragic News

Jane was all set to walk the aisle and didn’t bother about anyone. Just a few months before, she and her mother were at the wedding planners office finalizing everything. Her mother receives a phone call. She sounded a little low. This call was the one which changed all the plans that Jane had for her wedding.

Lost The Child

On the other side of the call was Samara. She had called her mother to gave tragic news to her. She told her that the child she was too excited for, was no more. She had suffered a miscarriage and was in poor condition. Samara’s mother could understand her daughter’s pain. Amongst all the mess, Jane’s reaction to her sister’s miscarriage was the last thing her mother could tolerate.

Oh, Well

Jane was so heartless and selfish that instead of consoling and calming her sister down in her tough time, she said, “Oh Well, I guess she can now be in my wedding since she’s not pregnant anymore.” The selfish sister didn’t bother to ask about Samara’s condition, her health, her pain and all she thought was her wedding. Clearly, how can someone be this ruthless?

Manage Yourself

Jane’s words were the last thing that her mother could take. She had been bearing all the while that she didn’t let Samara attend her wedding just because she was pregnant, but what she said just now was too much for her. She, while walking out of the planner’s office said, “I and your father won’t be financing this wedding of yours anymore, Congratulations Jane”.

Sobbing

The mother immediately drove to Samara’s place. Being a mother, she could not see her elder daughter in so much pain and trauma. She knew how badly she wanted a baby, and now that this tragedy struck her, she needed her the most. But amongst all this, what bothered her most was Jane’s behavior.
