May be Gina did not want this wedding to take place. Tracey has already mentioned that Gina did not like her very much and maybe that’s why she was complaining about everything related to their wedding. Tracey was hopeful that everything will get fine after their wedding. But little did she know her future mother-in-law was going to shatter her dreams to pieces.
Improvising
Gina reeked of jealousy. Tracey had always sensed something off about Gina. She never felt comfortable with her. As after the marriage she was going to be a family, the bride-to-be very much wanted to mend the broken parts of her relationship with Gina.
We Need Boundaries
Tracey had no intention of dragging the issue. She did not want differences to continue among them as they were going to be one family now. She asked her fiance to talk to his mother about it. Well, it worked and the old woman finally stopped her strange behavior.
Excluded
Tracey did not want Gina to interfere a lot in her wedding as she knew her future mother-in-law was not very happy with their wedding plans and was doing nothing except for condemning their preparation. The to-be-bride wrote in the post, “she complains to my fiance behind my back on how she’s being excluded.”
Never Happened Again?
For obvious reasons, Tracey was not comfortable with Gina complaining about her to her fiance every now and then. So, she asked Rick to do something about it. Rick had a firm word with her. She explained in the post, “To my fiance’s credit, once I told him that I thought that was beyond weird, it never happened again.”
Was It?
Was it the end of Gina’s inappropriate behavior? Had she understood what she was doing was wrong? No doubt, Gina had stopped interfering in their wedding but that does not mean she had stopped being rude to Tracey. The bride-to-be was soon going to realize how much Gina hated her.
