University’s Take
The university too was prepared with its answers, “In student conduct cases where there is significant public attention, UCF has the option to ask the student involved to waive their FERPA [Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act] rights so a more clear picture can emerge. If the student declines to waive those rights, the university is unable to discuss the case.”
What Do They say?
The spokeswoman of UCF said, “It’s important to understand that the process, in this case, may yet not be complete.” Lutz and his attorney are waiting for the process to reach its final stage and are pretty hopeful that the verdict will be on their side.
Changed Behaviour
The UCF changed its opinion over the subject after the appeal made by Lutz. The university said, “Though your reported behavior is concerning, it does not appear to be an expressed violation of a Rule of Conduct.”
Statement Of Appreciation
Jacob Stuart appreciated the UCF by releasing a statement late Wednesday. The attorney admired the institution for taking “immediate and decisive action” and for removing the “ill-founded sanctions” made against Lutz.
Thanking Everyone
The statement starts, “We look forward to this matter being resolved once and for all in the near future with UCF standing-down and not pursuing this matter any further.” “Mr. Lutz would like to thank all of his supporters for their messages of encouragement; this is truly a day for the 1st Amendment and the right to free speech!”
Winning The Appeal
Which means the charges are revoked. Lutz informed his followers, “After a very long process, I am pleased to announce that I have won my appeal.” “All charges against me have been revoked, thank you everyone!”
