After the discovery became famous, many more interesting events happened. As a man named Sigaard Jenson aged 94 and living in Northern Jutland claimed that he was an eyewitness to the crash. According to him, he decided to never tell anybody about the crash which happened when he was looking for peat in order to fuel his stove.
