The sad news went viral a few months back that Pedals was killed by a hunter who was trying to get the bear down since the day he saw his images and videos. It was assumed to be a rumor but later on, when several sources gave proof of his death everyone felt sad for the poor bear.

True Story

People couldn’t believe that their wild clown was now dead. He was shot dead by the person who did it just for fun. The biologists who were able to examine the dead walking bear explained the injuries that made him walk on hind legs were actually curable. If he would have lived then these injuries of his front legs would have been better within a few months.

While the New Jersey folks’ beloved bear was hunted down people grew up angry and couldn’t really understand that how a group of hunters were able to locate Pedals when the wildlife officials were failing to do the same from past few months. Pedals’ death was a disturbing discovery for the people that at last forced the New Jersey lawmakers to take an action against bear hunting and disabled animals in the neighborhood.

The days when Pedals was happily walking in the city locals made several attempts of contacting the New Jersey wildlife “experts” through letters, emails and even tried to meet them in person. At that time no one paid attention to it. Even the local residents knew that Pedals life was in danger but the so-called experts never tried to save Pedals. The follow-ups on the people’s call were so late, they usually called a couple of days later to confirm the last location where the person saw Pedals.
