Uncovered Treasures
Gordon Cooper had already discovered and cataloged having tons of silver, gold, and other priceless treasures. Before Cooper’s untimely death, he was wishing that his exploration would not be put on hold, that ultimately the treasures of the old world get uncovered. Cooper found out troves of information about what lay on Earth’s sea floors while he was orbiting the planet.
Uncovered English Wrecks
While the season aired, Miklos and his team found a number of undiscovered period’s English wrecks. This would include a Sir Francis Drake era wreck from the late 1500s. Mike Perna who works as the recovery expert also revealed yet another interesting discovery as Miklos and his team took up a piece of a lead sheath from the deep waters. If they continue this, who knows what else could pop up from underwater…?
Documenting Everything
An amazing thing about Cooper was that although he did all his assignments for his job at NASA, he was taking notes and even photographs of the treasure routes that was from the old world to bring out to the new world. Traveling around the Earth, Cooper especially focused on the shallow and crystal clear waters of the Caribbean and southern coast of North American. He was sure something was hidden in these areas.
Discoverable Treasure
Miklos is still deciphering the coordinates gifted by Cooper. He is still involved in focus dives based on the anomalies. An episode in Season 2 showed Miklos’ crew, including Perna, Eric Schmitt, and marine archaeologist Jim Sinclair, making use of a plane that they scouted from the blue seas in an area called Dragon’s Teeth, named of course by Cooper himself.
Continuing The Mission
Miklos and his gang are still doing whatever they can to find these hidden treasure that remains out of sight still. The team is continuing to unearth new pieces of artifacts in new episodes of Cooper’s Treasure. They are well equipped and determined to piece together debris patterns and make sure they search for recoverable treasure. You can watch the show and be a part of the hectic and tedious job that treasure hunters go through to get to the treasures…
