Donald Blakeslee

The man is Donald Blakeslee. He is an archeologist by profession and passion both. Blakeslee has contributed a lot to many historical types of research. His area of expertise includes archeology of great plains. The man could not resist himself from finding out more about the city. So, was he going to meet a dead end or was this worth anything? Only time was going to tell. He had heard Kansas people talking about the city and had also heard about the pots, arrows, and many other artifacts discovered under the ground. Their discovery could be a myth or reality. Their existence too was under the question just like the existence of the city. But the archaeologist decided to get to the bottom of it.

It’s A Yes!

Luckily for Blakeslee, the owner acceded at once. And with that, the first milestone was achieved. The archeologist directed his colleagues to start the process of excavation from the very next morning. Everything was set. Now all they needed was to dig the place to dig up the truth. But was it worth all these efforts? They were going to find out very soon!

Rare Artifacts

Just a few hours had passed by and the archeologist managed to find a lot of pots buried under the dirt. Was it a  prelude to something bigger? Well, the finding did boost their confidence. The pots looked primitive in appearance. So did the pots belong to the lost city? Their curiosity had gone up to the next level and they started digging with more enthusiasm.

Finding More Items

This way two days passed in a row.  The team had found a lot of artifacts by now. The curiosity-driven team did not stop digging. And with every hit, they would find something new. It seemed that the farm itself was built on the farm. You won’t believe what he discovered next…….

So Right!

Donald was amazed at the accuracy of their description of the town. He described, “‘I thought, ‘Wow, their eyewitness descriptions are so clear it’s like you were there,’” “I wanted to see if the archaeology fit their descriptions.” He continued, “Every single detail matched this place.”
