She’s come a long way
It is very commendable on Allison’s part to come out of the stressful and troubled time during her teenage and now live a peaceful life with a new boyfriend and away from all the media and controversy. She showed immense courage to stay strong and move forward against all odds and through times when she even thought of even giving up on her dreams.
Her alter-ego
On being asked about her perspective on the whole incident, Allison says that she feels as if it was her alter-ego which faced that situation at that time. As she is a renewed personality and is trying to make a fresh start in life. This proves how Allison has grown from strength to strength in her life till now.
She won’t give up
The most important thing is that she still has the same fire and devotion to become one of the most successful pole vaulters in the world. It is because of this that she currently trains with one of the best coaches of pole vaulting in the world at Phoenix. She even has a dream of representing her country in the Olympics.
Women pole vaulters
One thing which came out positive from the whole photo incident is the fact that women pole vaulting came into the limelight. This is the reason that in the year 2016 ‘The Hottest Women Pole Vaulters of the 2016 Rio Olympics’ which ranked women in order of their pole vaulting skills and physical appearance.
Credit where credit is due
The list helps in throwing light towards the hard work that the women pole vaulters put in order to reach the level they are. This helps people to embrace women’s talent and devotion in the sport apart from that of men. To be precise, women’s ability to be ‘impossibly graceful as they fly through the air.’
For all of the wrong reasons
Allison doesn’t shy away from the fact that still there are people who perceive her in a bad sense and often pass objectionable remarks while seeing her photos. But, Allison does not pay attention to all these things and focuses on improving herself and hoping that people gradually forgot what happened in the past.
