The ground floor of his house was designed to his satisfaction. It is commendable that Luke finished constructing his house but did he really put it to use? Yes, he did. He gets to sleep a few night there, do his homework and even has his friends over sometimes.
Cookouts And Chilling Out
Even if the design of his house is simple, Luke still manages to host cookouts in his huge backyard to entertain his friends and family. He obviously wants space from his parents sometimes just like any other kid. However, what kid can say they have their own house?

His incredible story made the front page news! In Iowa, the Des Moines Register and the Telegraph Herald kept Luke’s stories on their front page. Other media outlets soon followed suit and came for interviews. He was even invited on the show Good Morning America!
All This Attention
Now Good Morning America approached him for his house tour and an interview. And following the Good Morning America interview, he was quickly contacted by an interior designer. He had a lot of fans and Luke was very overwhelmed by all the attention.
An Inspiration
Derek Diedricksen, who is a designer and author spoke to Luke. Since Derek is known for building amazing tiny houses, Luke was overjoyed to be approached by one of his inspirations.After having a chat, they became social media friends. Luke also has a fan following that started to grow.
In The Family
Cole created his own teardrop camper. He is Luke’s brother. The camper was built using recycled items and Cole indeed followed Luke’s admirable footsteps. They two brothers were lucky to have each other as they are both very involved in each other’s building projects. they share a YouTube channel too.
