George Eads As Nick Stokes – Then
The omnipresent Nick Stokes – played by George Eads – generally provided the comic relief in the show. He was one of the longest-serving characters on the show. He appeared in a staggering 335 episodes of CSI. In fact, Eads only missed out on the series finale TV movie, Immortality.
George Eads – Now
Since his departure, Eads has transferred his talents over to other projects, such as CBS action-adventure show MacGyver. In the modern-day remake of the original 80s hit series, Eads play Jack Dalton, Angus “Mac” MacGyver’s partner.
Jorja Fox As Sara Siddle -Then
Jorja Fox’s character – Sara Sidle – was initially only a recurring character but then went on to become a series regular for the last five seasons. Sara the forensic scientist became so fundamental to the show that she was the frontrunner for the series’ movie finale alongside Ted Danson.
Jorja Fox – Now
Other than CSI Jorja starred in the popular and successful medical drama E.R. as Dr. Maggie Doyle from 1996 to 1999. She also starred in the political drama The West Wing, her character being a secret service agent named Gina Toscano. However, in recent times, she has taken a hiatus from acting and focused more of her efforts in activism.
Marg Helgenberger As Catherine Willows – Then
Marg’s character, Catherine Willows’ is actually based on real-life forensics officer Yolanda McClary. She is often billed as “a stripper-turned-investigator who is also a single mom.” Helgenberger portrayed Willows for the first 12 seasons of the show.
Marg Helgenberger – Now
Since leaving CSI in 2013, she starred in a recurring role on the successful sci-fi mystery ‘Under The Dome.’ She also had a cameo in ‘Hell’s Kitchen.’ She even attended a ‘Stand Up To Cancer’ dinner in solidarity with her mom who battled with the disease.
