While adopting this gentle dog, She could have never suspected that this dog of hers would show such violent tendencies. During the time of the dog’s adoption, she only had this little concern on her mind. Sometimes, the dog’s that are rescued from shelters have been known to have trouble coping with their traumatic past, which can later surface in form of behavioral issues. Still, she decided to go on with the adoption but she never suspected this from her beloved pet.
Family Decided To Adopt The Dog To Grow Up With The Baby
It was a unanimously decided by the Svillcics to adopt this little puppy so that he could grow up alongside their baby Charlotte. All they wanted was a companion for their little tot and who better to fill this spot than a nice old pup. He would have made the perfect partner in “crime” for her.
The Doberman Was Adopted; Not Bought
Once they had all come to the decision of adopting, Catherine got in touch with the closest dog shelter to get on with the process of adoption. After looking through numerous contenders, she ultimately decided to go with a Doberman pinschers. She named her dog Khan, who from what the people working at the shelter told her, had gone through a lot in his life.
New Home Gave Him a New Friend
Though she was well aware that there would be several challenges that would come along with this dog, she was not afraid of any of them. Engulfed in determination she brought Khan to her home and gave him the same room as Charlotte, who mind you was just 17-months-old. While not even seasoned dog owners can successfully anticipate if a Doberman will be well-behaved or not, especially given the disturbing past he had. Yet she had full trust in him and so she brought him in with her. Saving the poor Doberman from being euthanized.
It Was A Normal Day
It was on one fateful day when things took a turn for the ugly, it wasn’t even four day after he had been adopted this incident took place. Khan along with Charlotte was in the garden playing with her, so far there anything this family had to worry about. Save for the slight worry if the pair will get along alright.
