Will Hitchcock grew up in the mountains of Northern California while Alyssa Pelletier lived in the mountains of Southern California. The two met during their college days at California Polytechnic State University in San Luis Obispo. They had many similarities and same preferences when we talk about likes and dislikes. It took no time for them to become friends.
After College Life
Soon after completing their college, they moved to the San Francisco Bay area where they found jobs in tech and startups in Silicon Valley. Will and Alyssa both are goal oriented people and were looking forward to a successful career like any other fresher does. Although, they’re quite different from the crowd and you’ll know the reason ahead.
Self-Realization
They seemed to be looking for more out of their lives, something that soothes their souls and help them in finding their peace. Within a short period of time, they realized what it was that they really wanted to do with their lives. That was it for the two, they wanted to go ahead and do what they love, although, there was a big risk they were about to take for the sake of their dreams.
Let’s Quit Together
Now that Alyssa and Will knew what they liked the most, their dream was asking the couple to give up on their bright careers. So, were the two ready to take this big step and for the sake of what? Was it even worth giving up everything? How would they manage to survive in the long run if things don’t go as per the plan?
Making A Move
Alyssa and Will sold their stuff and moved to Boulder, a beautiful city in Colorado. As they started their new business together which is a start-up consulting firm. They named their design and development studio as Camp Four Creative. Now that they were out of their hectic schedules of San Fransisco, they could finally think in which direction they should take their next step. And trust us when we tell you, their next step it will surely amuse you.
Roam Around
Alyssa and Will were now ready to start their life full of fun and more, exactly as they wanted and how was that possible? They didn’t want to settle down at one location, their plans were to roam around or so we could say, they wanted to go everywhere. And they wanted to gave it a start soon after they realized that they can continue their work from anywhere.
Buy A Bus
The 2015’s spring was almost on its way when Alyssa and Will gifted themselves a precious 37′ school bus which they were planning to bring back to life to take it on roads again. The couple paid $5,500 for the 2001 GMC/Blue Bird which was in perfect condition to meet the couple’s requirements. However, buying the bus wasn’t enough, they were about to grant it a complete makeover. The priority was something else for two at that time.
How Was It?
The bus was exactly how they expected it to be, most of the seats were removed and it had enough space for storing stuff. This is how the bus looked from the inside at first and required a lot of reworking but Alyssa and Will were up for all the challenges to bring out the best of this bus. The vision, they’d for it would require manpower as well as willingness.
Target Race
Will and Alyssa wanted to make the bus running with everything including the insurance as they wanted to compete in a 50km race that was to be held in Washington. So, their target date was June 18th. Both of them were trying hard to finish the work before the decided date, however, it seemed quite impossible at one point.
Floorwork
They had to modify each and every part of the interiors and they started with the floor which was rusted. The couple was supposed to remove three rusted layerings and then update it which took days again. But once the floor was done, they quickly turned around to the rest of the parts. 
Sealing the Ceiling
The ceiling was one of the biggest troubles they faced. The couple got help from their friend Ty. Alyssa and Ty were stopping the ceiling from their hands in order to prevent the chances of falling while Will was on his assigned task to secure the ceiling.
Fun With Furniture
The work was going great, they were meeting all the timelines, yet they assigned a specific number of days for each task to be completed. So far, they were able to achieve all their targets. But the fact was they cannot bring the bus to action unless the insurance is done.
Major Construction
Another weekend passed away in completing the bathroom and water system; hooking up the power; adding appliances; and finishing benches, shelves, doors, and desks. Step by step, they were getting everything done.
Married
They both married the same year and isn’t this picture of the two just adorable? So far, you haven’t seen the final images of their bus-home, once you see them you can’t help but love their tiny place.
Take A Look!
Afterall, work comes first and there’s a two computer-set in their home for not compromising their work anyhow! The desk chairs are used not only for working but for the dinner table too. We know the living area seems to be comfortable but what we can assure you about, it’s not as comfy when compared to the bedroom.
