Later Sarah decided she would post the day’s event on facebook along with the cop’s photo. She had no idea about the kind of reaction that she was going to get. “One proud Momma. As it started going viral, thousands of comments and likes started flooding Sarah facebook wall. But no one could have expected what was about to happen next.

Upon recalling the events of the day, Officer Uribe and his fellow officers decided to call Sarah and asked her if it will be okay if they too posted this story on their account. “Well, Stephen you touched all of our hearts today. Your support means so much to all of the men and women who put on the uniform every day. We wish you the happiest of Birthdays!” But what would this officer do to replay such a generous act?

Immediately this officer knew that something had to be done, so he began by calling his higherups and requesting that the parking tickets be dropped ASAP. Not long after that, all the fines were revoked and not only this, as this heartwarming news spread across the police station, soon several cops came up to Sarah house to show their gratitude for supporting the officers.

“It meant everything. It meant that I’m supposed to wake up every morning and put on this uniform and go out there and do what I do. You know? It means that I need to keep trying to be a good example to all these young guys,” said the officer during an interview.
