Little Fight

He further stated, “I have a little fight left in me, and I hate to see somebody bulldoze over me.” It all started one day when he saw his new neighbor encroaching upon his piece of land in order to build a home. The evil neighbor had thought that the old man would not say anything. But he was wrong.

Construction

The plot next to Lynch’s house was empty for days. So, his neighbor started constructing his house immediately after buying it. The plot had been like this since the time he came in the town. Now, there was going to be a house on it. Lynch was very excited about meeting his new neighbor.

The Beginning

Initially, nothing looked out of place. Everything looked just the way they should. However, things took an unexpected turn when Lynch sensed something amiss one day. He saw a strange sight while coming back home in the evening. The center of his driveway was occupied with piles of cinder blocks. Though it did not bother him much in the beginning as he thought his neighbor would pick them up the next day.

Adamant

But it did not happen. In fact, when he asked his neighbor to empty his space, his neighbor hit him back by saying that the piece of land is his. Lynch had been using the piece as a driveway for more than two decades. He could easily sense by his neighbor’s tone alone that he was not going to give his driveway back easily. Lynch, on the other hand, was too determined to get his driveway back.

Out Of Blue

Lynch was aghast. His neighbor who had come here a few days ago was picking a fight with him for an unnecessary reason. His new neighbor had not contacted with any of the old residents and was already imposing his decision on others.

It Got Even Worse

Instead of backtracking, his neighbor went a step further. He cemented the cinder bricks on top of the driveway. Clearly, the neighbor was not going to step aside. By this, Lynch would not be able to move the blocks from one place to another. Even if he tries to do so, he wouldn’t be able to do it without causing harm to his own driveway. The matter was getting worse. Lynch soon realized that he had to take stringent action against his neighbor in order to resolve the problem. So, what was he going to do?
