The first one we will tell you about was initially shared on Reddit. This person raised the rumor that maybe Peter McCallister was actually trying to kill his son! According to the theory, he would have never thrown out his son’s ticket since he is a successful person… He would then have finished the job by hiring the Wet Bandits.
Or Was It Uncle Frank?
Well, maybe you are not buying on the previous theory. Do not give up on us just yet! There is another conspiracy theory that exposes Uncle Frank as the bad guy. He would have sent the Wet Bandits to rob his brother’s house and kill the nephew he did not like anyway. There are some facts supporting this one: he does not pay for the pizza, he is the reason Kevin is sent to the attic, and he caused a power outage. It is also mentioned that he talked to the Wet Bandits on the phone when he was in Paris for them to go ahead and do the job!
Two Old Man Marley Theories
Old Man Marley is quite a character. There are two interesting conspiracy theories created around the character. The first one says that he was actually an undercover cop after Uncle Frank. The second theory, which is probably the most believable out of these, sees Old Man Marley as a future Kevin McCallister that comes back to set things right and avoid his family house of being robbed!
