Sullivan County
It was a long shot, but Salmon headed to Sullivan County and began his research. He decided to simplify the investigation a little and went on to do local searches that could pinpoint the identity of the woman, with his various skills he knew the woman they had found must have been from the area, and began, one by one searching for answers.
Something Clicked
Sullivan County’s search paused on one open case that was strangely matching with the description. So, Yan asked the officers to look for this woman’s case file. They never thought of it to be such an old case but there it was, a file of a 1975 missing woman’s case. There was no information about the case in the file just the report that was filed on the date this woman went missing.
Connect The Dots
Yan handed over the case inquiry to the Detectives in Sullivan County, Detective Rich Morgan. Rich’s main role was to try to combine all the clues together. What was the connection between these two women? How did they were even relating a recently found body with a woman who went missing in 1975?
Somehow Related
Well, there was one main reason that the detectives were connecting these two women. While going through the old case file, the cops noticed that this woman too worked in the Catskill Mountains and that her working ID was found. And this woman was never found and her name was Flora Stevens. This wasn’t all that they discovered.
Missing Flora
Detective Morgan was finally able to connect both the cases together. He started searching for more information about Flora Stevens. While researching, he got to know that her husband searched for missing Flora for years but sadly couldn’t take the search operation any further due to the next mishappening.
Robert Died Searching
Detective Morgan also discovered the sad truth that Robert died 10 years after she went missing and since then nobody ever looked for her or into this case. As long as Robert lived, he looked for her but his life ended before his search for his wife could have ended.
