Colorado Tornado

19 - Amazingly Beautiful Campo Colorado Tornado
Even though it is one of the most destructive natural phenomena to occur the formation of a tornado can be awe-inspiring. This tornado is just in its nascence.
Most tornadoes have wind speeds less than 110 miles per hour (177 km/h), are about 250 feet (76 m) across, and travel a few miles (several kilometers) before dissipating.

The Dragon’s Skull

23 - The Dragons Skull
This is the perfect natural thing to creep someone out. This strange looking plant is a Snapdragon or a Dragon flower. When the flower withers away the seed pod appears the way you see in the picture, in the form of a skull. Because of how they appear they are also known to be the ‘protectors or the garden.’ If you are someone who likes to creep people out or keep them at a distance then hanging this dried seed pod around your neck is a really good idea.

Flammable ice bubbles

These are flammable ice bubbles, trapped under Alberta’s Lake Abraham. They are quite mesmerizing but are dangerous too. If you are close to them when they pop, you can get seriously hurt. Why do they pop you ask? Because these bubbles are made of methane and of dead organic matter.

This is the world’s largest salt flat which also has half of the entire world’s lithium deposit. When the rainy season comes the lake turns into a natural mirror. It is lovingly called the mirror of heaven because the sky is so gorgeously reflected in it.

The official number of injured people of the crew are known to be 70 during the 11 years production of the film. However, according to the actress Tippi Hedren, at least a hundred people were injured and some even had fatal injuries. She said, “If we wanna make a movie with lions, people are gonna get bitten. We just hope that nobody dies and we’ll do everything we can to makes sure that doesn’t happen.”

Halos

3. Halos

There is the sun halo and there is a moon halo but the latter one is white in color. The former is formed when ice crystals are formed at the right temperature high above the earth’s surface which bends the light to form a perfect ring. It is amazing what nature has to offer in terms of aesthetics and how we have not witnessed so much!
