An Every Day Issue
Well you might have come across the video that broke the hearts of a lot of people. “My name is Joey and I’m 10 years old. I am a victim of bullying. It hurts me very much. Please, stop bullying,” was what the little boy in the video said. That message after being uploaded on Facebook by Joey’s mother, was a desperate attempt for them to try and stop so many days of scrutiny faced by her little boy.
Lesson For All
This mother had been seeing the struggle and fear in her child that had been going for so many weeks. She was not sure how to go about dealing with the issue that her boy was facing in school. What An Impact
So who is this kid in the video anyway? His name is Joey Mason. This boy is a timid fourth grader who enjoys playing with pets. He is a proud owner of a dog and cat. Joey is also a resident of Toronto, Canada who lives in a residential community with a nice park. Their neighborhood is actually ideal for him as he can play and enjoy the outdoors with his adorable pets.
Playtime Turned Nightmare
And so this kid would often spend time and play outside, minding his own business, doing what he loves. But little did he know that one day he was going to face something that every kid dreads. This unfortunate incident took place after school one day for poor Joey. He was outdoor playing when suddenly it turned into a nightmare. He met awful bullies.
No Way Out
Life was very hard for the young kid. He had so much to deal with at such a young age. It was a particularly difficult time during spring for Joey because, for some reason, there were a bunch of teens who targeted him. They just picked on him constantly for reasons unknown. For weeks, it appeared as though these kids were there to bully him anywhere Joey was outside of school.
A Scary Turn
And this would have been difficult for any kid as young as Joey. Dealing with bullies is hard at any age so this must have been a tough time for the poor boy. However, since Joey was a tough kid he did not want to let the name-calling get to his head. He made sure to always keep his head up and not get his spirit down. He was more or less fun until one day his bullying took a scary turn.
