Will You Marry Me?
She couldn’t believe it when Matt went down on one knee. She thought it was all a joke but it wasn’t. “I was like, ‘Oh my gosh, is this happening?’ I saw the ring and was like, ‘This is gorgeous. I’m so happy with it.’ I had no idea,” Laura said in an interview. And said, “YES!”
Proposed In The Place It All Began
Matt knew Laura has always been the one for him and he didn’t even wait till they get graduated and proposed. “I proposed to her at the place it all began … our preschool classroom. When you like someone, you just kind of stand up and say it,” said Matt.
Tie The Knot
On December 30, 2016, Matt and Laura married at the Arizona Historical Society. They danced on the tune of Elton John’s “Can You Feel the Love Tonight.” Matt’s uncle made the wedding official and said, “For most kids in preschool, it’s about finding your snacks and your sleeping mats, but for them, it was about finding their soulmates.”
Celebrate Their Love
“Our favorite part of the wedding was the dancing and having everyone we love there to celebrate with us. We tore it up on the dance floor and it was great being surrounded by everyone who played a part in bringing us together,” the couple later on said…
