It was one fine day when Matt and Laura were going on according to their daily routines. One thing came to Laura’s attention. She was using her friend’s cell phone when she noticed a name; a long forgotten name. Matt Grodsky, it was. She was quite sure that it was him, and all of a sudden it was a grand flashback.

All those magnificent childhood memories started flooding back. She was eager to know how her friend knows him. It was awkward asking her friend about him. So, Laura decided not to ask and let it be but her friend understood that something was going on her mind.

After her friend insisted on telling her Laura asked her about it. How did she know Matt and she told her that they both met during their middle school. As expected her friend had the same question for her. Hence, she has to tell her about their sweet childhood memories that they had. By the time Laura completed her story, her friend already shared her number with Matt. Her friend told her that she did it and is now waiting for Matt’s reply. Laura wasn’t expecting anything at all out of it. This idea of her friend to set Matt and Laura up wasn’t hoping it to be a success. They were not the same and almost everything had changed over the years. There was no possibility for it to work, or was there any?

Laura wasn’t sure if it’ll work and even it does whether it is the right time for her to be in a relationship. “I was a freshman in high school so I was like, ‘I don’t think so!’” she said in an interview later on. The sad part is yet to come.
