Pontiac after realizing that Chrysler minivans were on demand, decided to manufacture something that was alike. The Pontiac Trans Sport had a clean design and huge windows that were aesthetically very pleasing. However, the cool concept that they promised was nowhere to be seen. There was a big curve on the driver’s side which made driving very uncomfortable. The sale was going fin but no one was head over heels for the Trans Sport. The public felt like a utility car was more convenient than this vehicle so it never dominated the minivan sector.
Pontiac Aztek
The Aztec was manufactured as a very close replica of the concept car. The concept car did not receive a positive feedback. It is quite confusing st to how and why the car was produced anyways by the company. Utility cars are very popular in the market with people flocking to get one. This care was however created with such a niche that it ended up repelling several people.
