After this accident, Riona managed to finish two marathons on her wheelchair. Her spirit cannot be broken and her confidence level has increased since she came with Keith. They look perfect together and unlike her last relationship, it was perfect both on the outside as well as the inside. Richard, her ex-husband had something to say too.
Richard Spoke!
“I told Riona I wanted a divorce the morning before her stroke, not whilst she was in hospital. Whilst she was in hospital I visited as much as I could of an evening, I had to take care of the children, look after the house and run a business. I lived in the house with Riona and the kids until last June before I eventually moved out, and we have now both moved on,” said Richard trying to clear things from his side.
Opening New Doors
“After my stroke, I thought my life was over, but it’s only just beginning and has opened so many wonderful doors. I’ve signed up with Models of Diversity and have just landed my first TV commercial. I used to struggle accepting help but now I welcome it as it helps me to keep moving forward. We can’t always do everything on our own with no help and support. Being the bigger and stronger person is to admit when we need help and accept it off of the right people,” mentioned Riona on her Instagram. She has inspired also many lives with her story.
Best Thing Happened
As she said, “I’ve heard for years that relationships are hard work and for years that’s what I had until now. I’ve found the missing half of me, that piece of the puzzle that perfectly finishes the picture.
