Capturing Salsman was not an easy thing to do for the police. They had to taser him two times in order to catch him. He did give a hard time to the police. But they ultimately managed to get him.
What Does She Say?
On being asked how did she manage to take on him. Maddie explained, “I just went for it,” “Nothing passed my mind except: ‘He is a psycho and he needs to get out of the car’.” The girl is not only courageous but smart too. It is only because of her quick thinking that she and Mollie could make out of it.
Injured
Ultimately, authorities held him responsible for three counts of felony hit and run, felony carjacking, and drunk and driving. As far as Maddie is concerned, she did undergo some bad injuries. However, she was proud more than hurt.
A Cast
Maddie suffered a severe injury on her wrist that needed a cast to get back to shape. You don’t generally expect such kind of bravery from a kid. No need to surprise, police too was amazed at the bravery of Maddie. The man was bigger and stronger in comparison with Maddie. How did she do that? Maddie has an answer…….
Hobby Helped
Who knew Maddie’s hobby would make her fight the man. She loves horse riding and that is exactly where she got her inspiration from. She said, “If I can control a 1,500-pound animal, then I was sure going to try to take care of [Salsman]!”
Basic Instinct
She further stated, “I was so hyped up on adrenaline, so I wasn’t really scared.” “I knew what I needed to do. I was thinking about getting Mollie out and beating this guy up so he couldn’t start the car,” Maddie continued.
