Out Of Fear
Mollie was trembling with fear. She kept shouting at her mother for help. Tears were streaming down her cheek. She had never felt so scared before. Seeing the miserable condition of her sister, Maddie decided to do something that would invite more trouble.
Courage In Blood
Maddie and Mollie belonged to a family of police officers and firefighters. Maddie had bravery and courage running in her blood. She had heard a lot of stories related to carjacking but this was the first time she was experiencing one. The girl had learned a lot from this story. And now it was time to put them in practice.
What To Do?
Maddie wanted to turn back to her sister and assure her that everything was going to be fine. However, deep inside she knew that it was not going to be until they do something. There was no use crying and shouting. Maddie needed to think on her feet.
Got To Do Something
There was no way Maddie was going to let him drive the car away. She knew that if the carjacker succeeds in driving the car, he would lead them to even bigger trouble. Maddie had to stop him. She took a step out of frustration.
Taking Risky Path
She started punching him even though, she knew it was not going to help. The man, on the other hand, kept trying to start the engine. However, it did hamper him from getting the engine started. It seemed he was numb to the punches or perhaps too lost to feel them. Scaringly, the man was not doing this for the first time. But for how long was he going to tolerate that? Or was Maddie going to save her sister merely by punching the man? Well, the answer is no. And Maddie was well aware of that. Which is why she does something that you can’t expect from a child of her age. It was unbelievable!
